Every dollar a low income person earns over the poverty level will be taxed at an effective income tax rate of 30 percent. High income people will pay an effective income tax rate that is less than 30 percent.

 4.

As a householder, you have to send to Washington $30 Fair Tax for every $100 wages you pay servants. In addition you will be required to send a monthly report. More paperwork.

 7.

Self-employed entrepreneurs will be required to file income reports - just as they do now.

 8.

Persons in other nations who receive income from inside the U.S. are supposed to pay an income tax rate of 23 percent. But, poor American citizens will pay an effective income tax rate of 30 percent on income over the poverty level.

 9.

The family that provides a home for a family member who joins them from an extended stay in prison or the hospital will not receive a rebate for that person to pay the 30 percent Fair Tax for 2 to 3 long months. Poor people with poverty level incomes in that situation will pay the Fair Tax.

The Fair Tax rate can change every year without the approval of Congress. The new Fair Tax rate will be "announced at least 6 months prior to the beginning of the Calendar year for which it applies".
